Day 5: Caravan 2000

EAA Airventure opens today!

The counts are in: 97 Mooney aircraft make it to OSH without incident; about 85 Bonanzas this year; and 15 women in the first "Chicks Flight." The official name of the womens' flight into Oshkosh from Janesville, WI, was "Women with Wings." They modelled their arrival procedure on the Mooney Caravan.
